High Speed Hurricane Level Wind Speed Product Testing

Available High Speed Wind testing of your products at Alpina Manufacturing. We own a specialized 16,000 lb. 335HP, 500 volt fan that can create sustained winds from 1 mph up to approx. 120 mph. We use this fan to test our outdoor sign products. We can test any type of products up to size 72” x 72” x 72”. We can mount on a platform or pole, with the ability to rotate your product in the wind, to test the effects of wind on all facets/angles of your product. Available by the hour or day. The Ban45™ is a patent pending, highly tested, amazing pivoting pole banner system built by Alpina Manufacturing Chicago. It deflects high winds off street pole mounted banners. This is to prevent banners from tearing off or damaging street poles in high winds from shaking and vibrations from conventional fixed mount pole banner holders. The point of this system is keep banners "up" and not destroyed if sudden high winds, including hurricane winds pass through. The system pivots the banner and deflects winds off the banner starting at about 30mph and will fully pivot to deflect wind forces at 80mph+. In this video you can see a maximum wind force of 111 mph, and when the wind subsides, the banner returns to its original position and looks good as new. The hurricane force winds are created by a 16,000 lb, 335 HP, 500 Volt high power fan that is at our Chicago facility.
